So the advanced suspension is a little more involved with modifed festiva/aspire rear strut and modified mk3 vw front coilovers where as. Ultimate suspension writeup uses modified mk2 vw front and mk1 rear rabbit struts. Is one better for an application? For example is one better suited for autocross, daily driving or dragstrip?I have noticed a decline in avalible festiva kyb struts online... Is the mk1 vw reat strut the better choice? And is there any valving diffrences between mk2 and mk3 frint struts/coilovers? Just curious if anyone has tried both setups and noticed where each one better suited.. I have loved reading both writeups! Thanks so much to charlie and mike for all the info!

The MK2/MK3 front coilovers are the same thing. The MK1 rear is the one you want to use.'88 L- B6d-Sidedraft Dellorto Carbs-G-Series-Advanced Suspension

Hey, Ive been watching these posts for a few years now, and finally found a Festiva for my own. I was wondering if I could pick your brains for a few minutes about all the options for suspension out there now. Will over at the Festiva store is touting the Rev9 set-up (which is unavailable ATM) And there's a Godspeed set that does the same thing (separately adjustable spring and height, with multiple damping adjustments). Is there any advantage to this. Or am I good with the $200. plain Jane Mk 2 kit and KYBs? Thanks in advance,
Corey
