yea I used to be into to the vw diesels had 3 tdi at one point.but they seem to always need some kind of part and there not cheap.but with some injectors a hybrid turbo and tuned ecu iwas making pretty good power on one of them and still getting 46mpg.
now if anyone thinks this wouldn't work let me know the compressed length is more and the extended is more. im not looking to lower just stay at stock height and support weight so give me some input
or you could go with an ma814 air shock that way you could go a little lower if you want and still has close to stock extended height.i think im going to try this one

uh, thats Front struts, I thought you wanted the air shocks on the Rear.
Upon investigation u are right so the closest to stock air shock from monroe is a ma820 almost identical .and run$65 at oriellys and have lifetime warranty.
So i installed some shocks and they will work great.i just had the wrong length ones the first time.so i will have longer ones tuesday.but from just bouncing on the rear bumper it seems like this is going to work good
Im gping to get pix of them once i get the correct length one in there.and part #s for them and from what ive read you should keep the shocks seperate from each otherr not teed together.bc when u take a corner the air on the outside will transfer to the inside shock if that makes sense
so I got the ma820 shocks opened them and find out that both ends have {eyes}. the top doesn't have a stud so mre searching I come up with ma822. it can actually go lower than stock and can raise up 1.5 inches more than stock. they also have over 9 inches of travel.
