Started putting the interior back in today. Was going to replace the plastic panels with some nice ones I have from an 89 festiva but found out that due to the switch from manual to auto belt the trim in a little different. I decide to try and paint the panels instead. Big improvement for a few dollars. Spruces it up, hides the stratches, and restores the faded grey.

i have the same intake manifold setup and i relocated the batt. to the back of the car in a marine batt. box. it cleans up the engine compartment alot then you just use the previous batt. location for the vaf. you just have to strip the wire loom to get the wires over there.

After working on the brake lines all morning ( I fixed a rear one and while bleeding the system a front one blew out, Ive decided to change them all. You might want to take a look at yours, its scary !!) I threw an old seat in the car and took it for its first drive. I can tell its more than stock. Got it up to temp, the fan came on and went off then drove it for about 10 minutes brought it home an parked in in the garage to check for leaks, found none. A lot of road noise with the interior out but it kind of sounds like the aspire rear beam may need some bearings. Im going to put new brake shoes on it anyway so that would be a good time to install new bearings too. I think its going to be pretty awesome once it gets finished. Thought Id share its first drive. Im the guy who said hed probably never do a engine swap .

i guess i should have said "measuring" the air flow, i just couldn't think of the best word to use  thanks for clearifying though
