Finally the weather is getting good! I'm spending the day working on my hatch. I'm almost finished sanding. Then I have to use a little filler and prime it. Then I'll fiberglass mold on the tail finisher I got. I'll post pics of today's progress when I'm done.

I love working on these cars!

Here is an update on the aspire swap. I broke both rear aspire strut bolts and I have a cut bolt still stuck in the captured nut. I've attempted to drill and use an easy-out but I only got about halfway through the bolt. It was easy drilling but then it's like I hit an a brick wall. I've tried three bits and each have dulled. So I left it alone and moved on.

I got the festiva rear assembly out. I got out all six of the bracket bolts without issue (whew). I was planning to reuse it seeing as how the aspire had a stuck bolt. However, I did snap the rear festiva strut bolts as well (no surprise there).

More pics. I'm definitely gonna need a set of coilovers... check out the clearence. but that was the plan all a long. Oh, where's a good place to find replacement bolts? Nearly ever bolt I've taken out is munged up.
