i did the falling shifter mod from skeeter.
installing dash clock as we speak."it didnt come with harness, but protege had a harness that plugs into it"
cleaned all the garbage out the inside
in the middle of swapping protege 140mph cluster
tucking wires while i am at it.
installed hood and grill
getting exhaust tomorrow!
settled on a 30 inch cherrybomb glasspack and a
universal cherrybomb stock performance muffler.
hopefully it will sound ok, if not. I dont care, lol
will post more pix once im done.

also made me a bracket for the throttle cable

currently down waiting on injector oring kit to come in.
then swap will be COMPLETE. "for now" lol

installed dash clock
got muffler put on with all new 2 & 1/4 pipe from flange back to a turbo cherry bomb muffler. its sounds good up till 3500rpms, then it has a ugly sound.
got the protege speedo working. 5mph fast, but should be good once i swap to 14's.

What's up with that speedo? Doesn't look too good in my opinion. How about using a GPS to see how fast you are going past 85 mph? That would look a lot cleaner.

ok, I installed new orings for injectors and they seem to have done the trick.
idle is smooth at 1500rpms"need to adjust timing.
while testing it today, i broke the second speedo wire.
now stuck using GPS till i can go to pullapart.

there are no leaks,smoke,noises. I am impressed with this swap.
I installed a rad cap off a datsun 260"i think thats the number?"
now I dont have coolant leaking when i shut engine off.

I am not done with car by no means, just with motor till clutch/tranny gives.
then i will paint and tuck more wires.

Got a new personalized tag.

Nothing else has been done to the festy lately. Been driving the
heck out of it though! 33MPG's on my last 325 mile trip.
Thats doing 80-90 MPH the whole 113 mile interstate part.
