cool, I'm interested in seeing your results! I just want to get mine running for now, just in case my truck dies...

Actually yes, i've gone through the second harness and i'm just about done with it
today i started by stripping the interior out to re-wire a few things, i've decided to go ahead with a wire-tuck now, it may not be a perfect tuck, but hey it's my first attempt at one
Here's how the car looks right now..... kind of a sad sight but i'm just thinking of the finished product
A nice bare engine bay
The festiva wiring that will be re-used
And the back of the engine where i ran the first harness i trimmed down
Next step is to bolt the engine in place, then run the wires where i want them so i can do whatever i need to do to keep the harness hiddenLast edited by Damkid; 03-05-2010, 10:06 PM.

umm, my build thread is on clubprotege.com, and fordaspire.com. I won't further cluttler his thread up.

sounds like your engine sits higher than mine too, mine tucks nicely under the lip, and I folded mine up against the firewall. It just took a few good hits with a dead blow hammer.

the VRIS actuators literally were resting against that lip on the firewall, so the aspire engine bay has got to be much bigger

oh ok, I had plenty of clearance, hmm, maybe the aspire bay is a lot larger than I thought. I always thought it was more of a myth that it was considerably larger.

Basically i'm planning the wiring as if there's already is a turbo attached to it
