                Ok time for an update.

So I wanted to get a baseline on Tom's car,so what did I do?...............................

                Went drag racing

I must say Tom's car runs strong. It still has the converter and stock airbox and all. I put it on the scales at the track too. Just under 1800 lbs. Also on 13's.

I only made 3 runs, but that was good enough for me. Times were....17.86/17.66/17.74 All were 75-76 mph. Best 60' was a 2.4. Car ran flawless. Just needs more power.

Here's some pics and a video for your enjoyment.

                It was fun

Thank you for letting me run your car. I had 2 people at the track ask "Where's the red car?"

And I'm so upset that i didn't get the run against the mustang on video. Oh well next time.

                          A 17.75 second average E.T. at 75.5 mph? With a stock Festiva? I'm impressed.

Makes me wonder what mine would do.

Any plans to run the B6 N/A first, or are you going straight to turbo?

I wanna do both. It depends on how much time I have before the "Sunshine Meet".

I should add here that I did drill a bunch of holes in the bottom airbox piece, which gives better breathing above about 4000 RPM. This undoubedly helped out the pink slips. The air filter is stock, not K&N replacement or a cone filter.
