Before, I was inclined to not run it at the track, to avoid dumping the tranny, but now I want him to do it! Go for it Greg!

B6 8 valve. 4-2-1 header. No a/c. And the car is already 160 lbs. lighter than mine.
And I'll say this. My car went 12.34 in the 1/8th (bone stock...1st week I owned the car). And Tom's went 11.35 in the 1/8th. I think low 15's is a reasonable goal.
And Tom, I will  ............I'll have many updates this weekend..Last edited by eurotiva; 02-05-2010, 06:48 PM.-Greg

Ok update time.............................................. .................................
So here's what we got done today......................................
Started with a running b3................................
Rj (skimsucka) stopped by to bring my clutch alignment tool back. Thanks RJ. And said he'd help. I guess he lost something because he was in his car all day..............He'll show you why
Since it's superbowl weekend my friend Brian and I decided to play some football .................................................. ..
We had a mascot and all the tools ready so here we go..................................
We got some bolts out and some stuff unplugged ........................................
Then RJ came over to tell us how good of a job we were doing.................................
So we hooked the hoist to it .......................Making progress....................
And what do you know it actually came out.....................................
And now all we have to do is clean this dirty engine bay.......................................
So with RJ's help.............................................. ...............
I got it all cleaned up................................................ ........
And in between breaks and welding for RJ. I found some time to paint the header, and valve cover............................................. ...... Hope Tom likes it ...............
Thanks to my Wife for taking pics when I was too greasyLast edited by eurotiva; 02-06-2010, 09:27 PM.-Greg

Looking good Greg. Looks like you guys had pretty nice weather to work too! I felt sorry for Mark for what he had to put up with working on my car today!"Lane, I've been going to this high school for seven and a half years. I'm no dummy."

I'm jealous of Brian. I really wanted to get up to my elbows in the engine bay myself rather than just watch you guys get all the fun.... Definitely with the next project I'll be more hands-on!
What next project, you ask? Haha, you will have to wait!90 Festy (Larry)--B6M (Matt D. modified B6 head), header, 5-speed, Capri XR2 front brakes, many other little mods

Wow Greg! All the effort you're putting into this is really showing! I wish I could of made it out to see it run, but that's the way she goes. Definitely can't wait to see this thing all done up!-Caleb
