Time for an update...............

It's been unusually cold here (30s-40s) So progress has been slow. I got everything ready for installation.

Here's the oil pan Before.....

Got the lower portion of the timing cover finished and installed...............



Also got the oil feed and oil return installed......................................... ..................

Hmm, is there a difference between the flow rate of the 2nd gen B6 Brown Injectors compared to the 1st B6 Green injectors?

Just a thought, since maybe it would be running a bit richer, or leaner if the flow rates are different, because I am of course using a 1st gen B6 on a 2nd Gen B6 ecu and VAF.
This could possibly be why it has some running issues, and doesn't feel quite like 80 horsepower.

Those were in the b6 when we got it? I'm not sure if they were stock, they came from a crashed b6 Festiva

Yeah they sure did, looked up the injectors on Rockauto between 1st gen and 2nd gen B6s, and they are different. Those are the injectors that came with that engine from the factory.

I am just wondering if anyone knows whether the flow is different between the First Gen Green ones, and the Second Gen Brown ones? I am guessing it is different, but just seeing if someone might know.

Found the 1st gen Dark Green Injectors are 220cc, now to find the 2nd gen injectors.

No problem.

But yeah I can't seem to find any info on the 2nd Gen B6 injectors, both the site you linked me to didn't even list the 2nd gen injectors, and the site with the flow chart I found, the info on them was completely blank.

Guess I will just need to find 4 2nd gen B6 injectors and try them out. Probably see if anyone has some to throw away on clubprotege. They don't care for B6s over there. lol :p

Greg off topi here but what paint do you use on the valve cover I seen that look on several of the cars you built on here.
Looks like a factory aluminum finish I like it.
I'm looking for something like that for my Transmission.

Nippondenso Part number for BP injectors is 195500-2180

I take it back, I can't verify any flow ratings for any B6 injectors.
