Im no expert and someone else may say its alright. but that piece of angle iron youre using looks a little too thin for what youre trying to do and the torque it may experience. Personally Id go to 1/4" thick myself. Maybe 3/8" if itd fit OK. But thats me.

I agree with everyone else, you need to run some thicker metal, I am using 3/16th" steel and its held up to its fair amount of abuse. Im using a stock EGT mount and I got the steel from a metal supply warehouse about an hour from my house.

any pics on the egt tranny mount pics? and also why did you need the injector harness from the jy for the swap? sorry im in the verry begining stages of this swap im just taking the motor out and still have the egt so if you have any suggestions on what to keep for the swap im open. your swap looks good please take lots of pics and post em for us. -thanks

sorry i just keep checking and double and tripple checking. so take the injector harness off the bp and click in the harness from the festy. rite? does anyone have any pics of the tranny mounts they fabed for a egt tranny and maybe some pics and rundown of the hydro conversion?Last edited by bobbyspider; 02-05-2010, 12:28 PM.

actually i as of recent keep a copy of mattswabs guide in my back pocket as embarasing as it sounds :toothy3: im just a person who learns by doing it and i need to ask lots of questions sometimes reading just makes me more confused im a visual and experience learner and im just trying to do this rite the first so i dont have to retrace all my steps later to see where i went wrong -thanks for all the help so far we'll get er dialed in
