Then. (note the extra bracing and thick welds by me on the wg elbow. that thin metal is junk.)
Now. And it survived getting smacked by the rad support pretty hard.

Looking good Mike!!! Do you want to have a BP26 exhaust cam for the exintake swap? I bought 2 but I only need 1.

for who ever wants to know what coils they are, they are toyota 2zz coils off of a 01 corolla... i wanted to get the ones from a k20 honda and see if they fit better but i had these laying around so i used them...
the harness for the motor, still unfinished but its getting there...
and the MAP sensor mounted on the firewall....
and last but not least, bling 8)
i have a question, am i the first one to have coil-on-plug ignition in their festiva? i dont remember ever seeing one with it....

got some parts in the mail today
the stock festiva flywheel weighs about 16 or 17 lbs... maybe more... its a bathroom scale and with me stading on it, it may have set it out of wack lol...
a stock b6t one weighs about 19 or 20 lbs...
and my new one weighs
the company says it weighs 8.8lbs... its a bathroom scale lol... even with the clutch and pressure plate on it, it weighs about the same as the stock b6t flywheel WITHOUT the clutch or PPand from what i read, the one i have in the car now (bp 1.8L flywheel) weighs 22.7 lbs... i think it will be fun
they say it will hold 422lb/ft of torque so i think it will hold lots of boost
should be fun to do stop and go with also
also added some stickers to the under side of the hood... i dont know if i like them or not... they look kind of weird...
but i am keeping this one
more parts and pics comming soon... and if all goes well in the next few days, maybe a vid of it running...
stay tunedLast edited by sasquatch; 09-11-2010, 12:00 AM.
