That's awesome to hear you got the intercooler! That's kind of funny that it doesn't fit since you were contemplating at one point bashing your fire wall to get the stock intake manifold on!

ok i got my manifold and it fit on the motor but its WAY to close to the firewall.... i have tried everything that i can to make it work but its not gonna work with these mounts im gonna try to bring it over to my friends house and make a new cross member so the motor will sit right... more upright and farther down.... ooo and i had to "adjust" my brake lines a bit... bent it a bit to far for old lines and one cracked so i got another thing to replace... it just never stops

i made this bar about 2 years ago and never used it.... untill now its amazing how much my metal work skills have improved in the last 2 yeard lol.... it looks skechy but its STRONG, i was just in the back of the car hanging, jumping, kicking and beating the $#!+ out of it, and it didnt move so im happy with it.... i just hope tech likes it lol... if not its only 4 bolts and its out and the bast part about it is that i still have all the stock seat belts in the car

seat cover is off for washing too

if your wondering how the thing is held together its like this.... the bar that goes from the front bolt to the rear is one solid pipe that has flattend in the middle and then bent around the cross bar, then a bolt holding the two bars together....

    more to come...

    ok an update...

i should have my manifold middle of this week sometime

some work done to the car the last couple days.... made the intercooler all shinny
    one side done...

    before

    after

    all done

next is a racing seat that i have had for a long time... i put in the basement and the cat slept on it for the last 6 months lol... (along with my mint condition mr2 seats ) so i finaly got around to making a bracket to put it in the car cause im tired of flying around the car when trying to take some corners fast... i plan on doing some autoXing this year so this should help me out some

camera died after taking that^ pic so i didnt get a pic of the fram cause it was charging... its nothing special tho...

painted up some rad clamps.... lol...

and next to finish is the seat selt bar to hold the 5 point harness the stock seat belts are gonna be left in the car so i can quickly buckle up and not spend like 20 min trying to get the 5 belts to all work together lol... and trying to sholder check with a 5 piont harness is allmost impossible...

i know the seat looks like its tilting but its just the pic...

and a shot from the outside... the seat is very low in the car and its far back but im tall... it fits me good if i could i would like to move it back more but i cant

oo and the seat cover is getting washed lol....

    more to come...

lots of work done on the car today but it looks like i did nothing lol... all the work i did was wiring, all under the dash... my back is not felling to good, 6'5" and trying to bend in to the foot well on your back and look up in to the dash to se where your wires are is not fun lol... but i got EVERYTHING re-wired and its MUCH better now i can leave my key in ACC and not have all my gauges running... they are wired in to the ON position and the power dosnt cut out in the START position, so the zietronix dosnt go back to the "start up" procedure

    here are some pics...

first off i got rid of all the gauges on the "A" pillar... i was gonna have "fuel pressure", "EGT" and a wideband on the pillar but the zeitronix dose all that so thats fine with me i just got to get the fuel pressure sensor and then im set...

a closeup of the tach, zeirtonix, oil temp, oil pressure and water temp gauges...

next is the radar detector, now hard wired in to the key so now i dont have to shut it off each time i left the car

and if i dont want it beaping at me all the time i just turn off this switch and it will turn off, no more fighting with that stupid rotary dial

closeup of the zeitronix i LOVE this thing looks so nice and its easy as heck to see, i was kind of worried about not being able to read it but its easy

all of the stuff lit up i dont know why the 3 gauges in the center vents are blue... they are white... stupid camera lol...

and last but not least... i took apart the tach and painted the back cover and shift light flat black... from the outside its much less noticeable stelthy
