The ground goes on the head, there should be a bolt that is located on a bracket that sticks off it in the dip area of the valve-cover, drivers side of the head.
The connector for the black thing on the bottom is on the starter harness and not the harness that stays with the engine. There should be another butterfly style clip in that same harness that is unused.
