That clears the timing cover better than mine. I trimmed mine some where its close. Also I think that might clock it forward and cause clearance issues up front?

I made some but mine are an inch and a half. I can see how they could be shorter given the large holes in the festiva mount. Yes please Id like some custom aluminum ones. Shoot me your paypal addy and Ill get some $ to you.

They are 7/8ths. 1 inch will work too. And for the bolts I used old transmission bolts. I know you have some of those. That is seamless 7076 aluminum. I'll send you some if you'd like. I think you could mount the bp without touching the frame on the pass side, but you will still have to do the drivers side some for the trans. And I have NEVER touched my firewall.

How long are these spacers ? Inch and a half ? Also, would you have to make room on the drivers side frame rail if you didnt install the A/C pulley ?

Great thread, read the first eight pages and already found lots of useful info for my swap.

I'll be upgrading my exhaust soon. Going 12.53 thru stock exhaust is cool but its long overdue for an upgrade.

well i would go with the b3 pulley but i know me and i might as well just stick with the bp pulley. i mean i have a 800hp ls power rwd focus lmao. and modding the frame will be no problem for me so i can just use the stock pulley without modding it. thanks for the help guys. i look forward to joining the bp guys in a couple weeks

that's correct. I'd run a festy pulley unless you plan on going turbo. You won't have any oil pump issues until you get over 200 hp.Originally posted by M3NTAL View PostI believe it's a BP crank pulley with the BP AC pulley machined off, then Festiva AC pulley Attached to that, running factory Festiva AC comp.

very nice looking project and sweet times. i got a question for you since i plan to do a bp swap soon and want to keep ac and would like for my oil pump to not blow to pieces.
what are you running now? do you have the bp crank pulley and festiva ac comp and just notch the frame rail? or did you have to change the compressor?
