Well, this car is going to be my new daily driver These pics are really old, but it will give you an idea of what it looks like.

So far when I started, the sway bar was hanging down, the passenger LCA wasn't hooked up to the spindle, needed a new drivers side tie rod, and a few misc. bolts to hook up the tranny, plus figure out a way to mount the battery, then figure out why the brakes dont work.

Well, so far I got the sway bar, LCA's, tie rod & boot done, now i need to change the oil in the motor, fill the tranny with fluid, fill the radiator with antifreeze, mount the battery, then figure out whats wrong with the brakes, it loses fluid, and the it pulls to the left when hitting the brakes ( i remember this from when i drove it with my dad back when we first got it, before the tranny went out on it)

And she's alive!!! So today I didn't get to work on the car in school, but I made sure the car was outside so I could work on it out of school.

First me and Joe (wildfan17) changed the oil in it, then I tightened up a few bolts After that we figured out that it's 2.6 quarts of tranny fluid, and filled that up.

Then I drained the coolant and put fresh stuff in. Then changed the corroded disty cap. Held the battery in place, put the key in it, turned it over, and she started!!

But one problem, when I put my foot on the gas to rev it up a little, it would sputter, could that just be old gas?

Ok, thanks Mike, I think I'm going to drain the gas out of it and put fresh stuff in it today.

Todays goal, to have it driveable! (without having to hold onto the battery lol)

You might want to put some fuel injector cleaner in the tank too. Don't put a lot. Too much can mess up the o2 sensor (it does on GM cars).

Good job; very satisfying I'm sure. Now you have something to mess with for years. Interesting mounting of the air cleaner on the roof; factory or dealer option?

Oh, I love this color, I wish the body would be in a lot better shape, or I would've put the B6T into this car instead of my white one.

Oh, and I still have to fix the breaks, not quite sure what the problem is..

Ok, so I started bleeding the brakes, I can't seem to get all the air out of the RR, and there seems to be a little bit of air left in the RF, does this mean that it could be the master cylinder needs replacing? I sure hope not..

is it wet between your booster and master cylinder?

what about any fluid leaks any where under the car? the air's gotta get in some where, if air is getting in fluid should be getting out there too.

is your brake fluid reservoir low on fluid? that will cause air problems too

                            also
check your fittings make sure their not loose. those fittings are soft metal easy to break. dont tighten them too hard.. you will literally twist them in half if your not careful and then your screwed, new lines and your gonna have to replace whatever the line connects to

no, nothing, wait, now that i think about it, i remember seeing a puddle under the car right about where the master cylinder is
