Your most likely not familiar with the f's but would you happen to know where it sits compared to the G?
1992 white L, Bp, American racing 13's, stock trans.
1991 White L, BP/F5MR, protege header, full aspire swap with gr2's, seats, and sway bar, 15" konig's, short throw, escort console.

I'm thinking my G series 4speed auto will push the engine forward a good bit as well (hoping anyway). Maybe I can get away with not shifting the whole mess toward the Pass side which I should be able to do since the trans isn't wider side to side just front to back. If so then I'll probably BP it later on. Doing it with a B3 first just to see how much gas mileage I can squeeze from it. Looking forward to seeing how the rest of this build goes Going good so far!
        No festiva for me ATM...

The F and G series tranny's locate the engine roughly in the same position, I used to have a BP/F series swapped festiva with no firewall mods

          1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
          1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

Thanks htchbck! I wouldn't mind seeing that 4spd auto done either! I'm not a big fan of auto's, but it should still be interesting to see at least!

^ Way better! With lockup torque converter it should be turning only ~100-200RPMs higher than a 5 speed manual on the highway. As opposed to the several hundred more that the 3 speeds do

^ No I had a complete running Capri Xr2 with the b6t, I parted it out, was gonna try rebuiling the b6t and swapping that in, but then I didn't have money to finish the rebuild and now it's still sitting in pieces.. Now I decided I wanted to go BP, so I figured I'd use the G-series so I don't have to mess with babying the E-series.
