Your most likely not familiar with the f's but would you happen to know where it sits compared to the G?

I'm thinking my G series 4speed auto will push the engine forward a good bit as well (hoping anyway). Maybe I can get away with not shifting the whole mess toward the Pass side which I should be able to do since the trans isn't wider side to side just front to back. If so then I'll probably BP it later on. Doing it with a B3 first just to see how much gas mileage I can squeeze from it. Looking forward to seeing how the rest of this build goes Going good so far!No festiva for me ATM...

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

^ Way better! With lockup torque converter it should be turning only ~100-200RPMs higher than a 5 speed manual on the highway. As opposed to the several hundred more that the 3 speeds do

^ No I had a complete running Capri Xr2 with the b6t, I parted it out, was gonna try rebuiling the b6t and swapping that in, but then I didn't have money to finish the rebuild and now it's still sitting in pieces.. Now I decided I wanted to go BP, so I figured I'd use the G-series so I don't have to mess with babying the E-series.-Josh R
