  • project festy dd!

The main objective to this project is to have a dd... we have 4 festivas but i have never ever daily drove one, although ive raced 2 of them for 4-5 years. Now that i bulit a miata race car ive been missin the whole festy thing for a very longgg time...

so about 4 months ago i found my dream festiva... aqua with 0 rust 0 scratches and 0 dents... problem is its an automatic

the plans for the car is to slam it with coilovers, put some wide rubber on it, swap the interior, and eventualy either swap a miata motor or a egt motor (depends on pricing and such)

so far im taking the interior out of the black car, putting it into the green car ... anyone in bc or alberta want a free festiva shell?

the black one is registered in bc and it needs an out of province

When you say miata motor do you mean B6D or BP? Shouldnt be too hard to find a BP. Keeping it auto? Ill be doing an auto BP here sometime in the future. Id rather have the stock festy auto than the stock festy 5 speed. Way more reliable and stronger, though I'd miss shifting and having OD.

Why? Cause you'll pull them in a straight line?

And if you ever go turbo you'll really be set with an auto.

the balck one is pretty nice the only thing it really needs is an out of province and a transmission. it makes some really ugly sounds while its driving thats for sure
