Got spark. Felt it.
I then tried moving the distributor down a bit from it's position near the top of its arc. Still nothing.
Parts that were proven good from Aqua before teardown:
-ECU
-distributor (taken off Aqua's B3 because my B6 one had a broken bolt)
-all of the engine compartment electronic thingies, including coil
-block fuses replaced beforehand
Parts from Luxstiva (B6 swapped) who started and ran fine this morning:
-VAF
-large air intake hose and assorted fittings
I'm using Lux's parts right now solely for testing convenience.
Here's a guess:
Something from my B6 swap is not allowing her to start. I never heard this engine run before, plus I took it apart and put it together.
What might I have done wrong in putting it together or hooking it up?
What about gummed up fuel injectors? I looked at them and sprayed off the outsides, but didn't "deep clean" them at all.
