Well I was actually looking for a 87-93 hatch but couldnt really come up with anything and that is when I found this. My first task will be getting all the fluids changed/flushed so I can drive it a little while on R&R. Than it will be prepared for storage until I get back to the good old US of A...

If you were another 1,000 miles closer i could have helped you out. I have a 1989 hatch that is pretty much a white '93 cobra R clone, brakes suspension, viper t-56 and so on.

I'm looking to trade for an older mustang project actually. Sick of smogging a car that wont pass smog. the problem is they are worth 1,500 or 15,000 out here. In high school i could buy a 1968 mustang that ran with no rust for <2,000 all day long. People from out of state snatched up all the good ones.

Well they just found a 66 gt350 that had been forgotten in a shed for 26yrs... The tires still held air and it runs, course the interior is moldy but yea.

About 10 years ago, a friend of mine who is into European sports cars offered to sell me a '70 Mach I he had in storage. It was rust free, original red paint (faded), Magnum 500's, rear slats, rear wing, etc.. It had a mild but freshly built 351W with a toploader, but had a weak clutch & needed some minor suspension work. I could of bought it for $3000.
But I was an idiot and let it get away.......I could have rolled it into my garage and let it sit for 10 years, then rolled it back out and quadrupled my money. Actually, I would never sell it if I did have it.

This is why im much more the cougar and fairlane fan. When you do find a clean one there isn't as much popularity markup., prices are fair of what's in front of you.

Cant go wrong with a mustang if its a old one. No offense to anyone who owns a 01 or newer but thoses are a dime a dozen. At least you will have a beaut of a car when your done.

Yea I would love to get the eleanor kit since you dont see it on coupes much but that is over 3k. Or I thought about getting the body parts for a gt350 since those can be had for alot less.

Ok well havent updated in awhile but not much has happened... Had a guy rebuild the steering box and do alittle wiring work. He changed the oil and topped off the coolant but found out that a freeze plug needs replaced.... When I was on R&R I took all the junk out of the car and went through all the parts not on the car. I also cleaned the rust of one of the wheels to see how it looked, amazing what some degreaser and steel wool can accomplish.. I have alot more pics and ill post some up soon.
