    here a before and after pic of one of the rims I cleaned. Notice that the tire is flat in the after pic... Well that is because the tire is really dry rotted and wont hold air...

        Now if I could just get a festiva to drive till I get this beast done... Shoot maybe if I stay in germany til 2013 I can get a 121 and get it sent to the US...

          That looks like a lot of work. Thats what I always say when I see one of these old Stangs. I've owned one 66 and two 67s, so yes I know how much work it takes, but you're young, you can do it. the hardest part is not getting discouraged. That has been the death of a lot of project cars. The sooner you can get it drivable and drive it, the more you will enjoy it. Even if its far from what you want the end result to be.

            Yea my plan is to take care of the rust first and than just get it driveable and slowly work on it. This is not going be a show or concourse by any means, just a fun daily driver. And I plan on driving it unless it is snowing.
