i got my bp yesterday. paid 120 bucks for it. it is in nearly perfect condition. still doing a rebuild b/c i tore it all down to make sure it was in good condition since i was getting it at pullapart.

the engine is out of a 93 protege auto. so i have every thing except the ecu and tps

does any one have the std specs for the bp engine. crank journals, bearing clearances, cyl bore, piston ring gaps, and torques. are the main bolts reusable?

I believe that one will work. If I remember properly you need either a BP_09 or BP_10 ECU. That one is a BP_10 so you should be good.

I have your answer for you. You cannot use the auto TPS since it is a 4 wire. There are plenty of people out there though who really want them for stand alone projects. From what I remember you have to replace the whole tb and use one off of a manual
