          • so... how are you going to plumb that in? I'm curious because it would save having to put in the cables.

            • Hydro e-brake should not be used in place of cables. It's actually not legal

Ya, I gotta agree to this one...... If a brake line fails on you and you lose all the fluid, what's the back up plan for stopping? That's why I'd rather have a cable ebrake

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

Federal law requires a seccondary means of stopping if a brake falire occurs. ... that's about all I have to say about that LOL ..

                  • ahh, yeah I was thinking a separate fluid system all together. I think I'll stick to cables, especially in nazi NY

                    • Slave cylinders at the hubs and a second fluid system.

I agree that would work but I'd save the potential legal hassles and fab work to do it, that's why I'd use the cable

Legal - in PA -. "Parking brake system—A brake system used to hold and maintain a vehicle in a stationary position. A positive mechanical means is employed to hold the brake applied when the vehicle is unattended."

                          Edited for legal defition:

                          (2) The parking brakes shall be separately actuated so that failure of any part of the service brake actuation system will not diminish the vehicle’s parking brake holding capability.

Therefore, this would not work unless the entire plumbing were done separately (in PA), and could still be considered questionable because it still utilizes the original slave-type devices (wheel cylinders and calipers).

                          • plus it isn't actuated by positive mechanical means, aka a cable.
