Yes the engine bay will get a coat of paint, i can't stand mixed matched colours on a car either..... but with saying that, i may just spray the engine bay black, mainly since i have a few cans of black spray paint already

I'm honestly not sure what to do with the KL, probably keep it as a spare for the festiva, cause once i get the turbo setup going, its very possible i could blow the motor

            It's Miller time.

(anyone else surprised I'm the first one to make that joke? First thing I thought of when I saw KJ)

Millenias also had MILLER CYCLE ENGINE written on the tach, and some even had it pretty much plastered all over the car.

So tonight i did some minor tedious crap, pulled the KL harness out, stripped the pass. side of the engine bay and threw down a quick coat of paint, it's not pretty but at least it doesn't stand out as bad as the yellow lol

And i have this in mind for the badges on the back

Subbing so I can see how this works out.

Has anyone mated a KJ to a mtx before?

I once seen a video on youtube of a 5 speed Millenia S, at the time i didn't know much about the millenia's and that they never came standard, but i remembered about the video when i read someone post the KL tranny's bolt to the KJ's......... so thats when i wanted to find out for myself :evil4:

I was referring to bhazard's post on page 1, but I was half asleep and it didn't even cross my mind that using that handy 'quote' feature would be a good idea

The hits just keep coming. Just a year or two ago if a kid signed up and asked if these swaps could be done he would have been assaulted with 4chan picture insults. Now not so much. Can't wait to see more progress!

Well the other day i decided to put the battery in the P5 to see if the power draw is still there now that the motor is out, i left it for a day and the battery did not die at all

So i'm figuring it was probably the alternator that was draining the battery, so i'm happy that's finally solved

And i got the rest of the engine bay painted as well, pics comming soon
