Took the intake & Head to the Machine shop yesterday. All is within spec w/no warpage. OK THEN WHAT IS MY PROBLEM?!! lol Come back & my wheels are turning like crazy just trying to figure out why this intake would not be sealing. I went out again today & replaced the upper ^ intake manifold gasket & then grabbed the threaded stud bold that came out of the head when taking the intake off. Turns out the nut on it was stripped thinking that it was "Torqued down" however it was Stripped not allowing the intake to properly seat all the way down. doh!

        for those that like pics

Going to Leave this Intake Support Bracket Off for now.

Tore Down 2nd Time. Also removed Festiva powersteering pump

Heres an Aspire Powersteering Pump. I'm going to try & install it instead so I can fit A/C.

1 end is different & the mounting brackets are different too.

This should also allow me to run the aspire coolant pipe but the festiva one may still work...well see.

I'm going to run the aspire manifold. Muffler shop will weld up a new pipe when that time comes.

        work zone

O2 Sensor wire broke so had to splice in new one

re-threaded some questionable threads I goofed on before.

put festiva o2 sensor in aspire manifold

the all important Aspire p/s & a/c brackets

          painted up

          New coolant temperature sensor installed

However, I'm Not going to use the aspire p/s like I planned.

Told the parts guy that I needed to order another donut b/c my car was hungry.

            Aspire d/p

Ford Dealership put the coil springs on the new struts. Came back asap & got them installed along w/all the other suspension components.

I mentioned before how I had to straighten out some bent metal (radiator support) before. The mounting point for the control arm was/is bent out of shape too & is straight in line w/that bent metal so previous owners ran over something BIG!

            A/C bracket installed

Got alot of stuff put back togethor. swapped over to some aluminum wheels however, the steelies have some new tires I'm going to use. Went to parts store to pick up some automatic transmission fluid & oil to top it off.

                Windshield replaced-passed inspection
                aligned & downpipe put on.
Bogged down & would'nt go passed 35mph so had to re-time the car- has full power now.
Passenger-rear wheel bearing needs replaced so that is next in order.
Filled up fuel tank & gas guage finally moved passed 1/4 after about 10min. of driving.
