Today I successfully mounted the weber carb with throttle linkages.
The carb itself is from a1976 gt capri.

i tell ya what the day i do finally get to drive her wide open throttle will be a very good day indeed. this build has taken sooooooo long and im not even close to being finished.

if i can finish the fuel lines, exhaust and fill 'er up with all the right fluids i can at least start her. before she moves anywhere i still gotta install front/rear wheel bearings, source and install the coilovers, finish the aspire conversion in the rear, finish paint and trim inside and out, and finish up on some fiddly wiring.

that oughta get her moving then theres tint, finish re-upholstering, replace the 14's with a set of 15" enkeis ive got my eyes on then wrap them with toyo proxes r888's. hmmm, i bet there's more to come i havent thought of.......

i got a quiet night here at work so i thought id just throw some random pics up.

these are the civic skirts going on. this one has been filled and blended to the body.

                my deleted passenger door handle-painted.

                tinted smoothies.

a car i was fortunate enough to work on when i was in the suspension trade.

                yours truly..

                i want the black ones...

good shot of rear spoiler and (unpainted) supports.

                          thanks heaps guys!!
every little bit i get done i get a nice little feeling inside, like im just that bit closer to, well, a vision i guess.
i got a mate thats into his cars too (except he drives an r33 gtr) and as keen as he is he just doesn't get the festiva thing so basically im flyin solo on this. ff.com has been my (forgive me Lord) bible for this past 2 years and im really stoked to be a part of it!

you're missing the Earnhardt bar (goes diagonaly across the roof line between the main loop and the A pillar brace)

The black and white part of the cage is the minimum required by CAMS (Council of Australian Motor Sport). What I've added in blue pen was in response to the rally crash vid posted the other day.
