  • k, I was looking at my pan and it didn't have that "boss" so I have been wondering, just thought about it when I seen those pics.. wonder if there's a way I could brace or support it somehow, maybe with something on one of the oil pan bolts.. I'll figure something out, thanks.

    • I used an auto pan no problem, I drilled & tapped the same spot just wasn't as thick

        • well we'll see about what I actually get done over the weekend... helping a co-worker pull a trans out of their truck Saturday. I'm hoping that is quick and painless so I can get something done.

          • Updates!

            I went to pick up a flywheel that is selling and I decided to put the oil pan back on. Then I decided I'd get the engine into position to be re-installed... then I decided to just try and set it in... well long story short:



            I just left the factory tail mount on it:



            Coming up with ideas on how to get mounts set so I know what to fab my poly bushing mounts like:



            I dunno if this shows it or not... but rack clearance for now:



            I am going to get things more squared away tomorrow hopefully... then I can tip up the transfer case so it tucks in properly and test fit my axles. *fingers crossed* They should just slide right in and be good to go with the added width up front.

                  • not running yet, had/have too many things going on this weekend to get more done. I did a little bit of work to the mounts but still have a ways to go. I have to talk to my buddy and see if he has the gutted EGT wiring harness for MS finished yet...

                      Still need to move it a little to get it perfectly straight. I'm going to oval out the mount holes some to get a little more adjustability.









                      Now to use these or the bottlecaps...



                      I think these will be better for the 2's body lines...

                          • I had trouble squeezing the injector harness on with the vics intake bolted on. Had to remove intake lol.. yours looks like it's gonna be ez. Is there just the one block to body ground by the motor mount that's not part of the wiring harness, or are is there more I'm missing?

                            What size injectors are you gonna be using?

                            • block to body at the cams is the one I know of. There are others near the trans though.

                              I'm using 550cc injectors from an RX-7. I really need to get those sent to walth for cleaning...
