Still, we had 4.5 hours of repairs - cooked rear wheel bearing to the extent of damaging the drum & had a boll joint popping out of the spindle twice, probably the spindle is worn out, will probably switch to rio spindles.

Now it's time to revisit rear disk brakes and figure out a way to use 294mm front rotor.

Do you have these small axles-spindles for the rear? the ones to which the drum is located?

The drum & bearings we were able to get a NAPA, fix the thing and get it back on the track for the Sunday session

Yep, just 16ga or 22ga sheet metal welded on. We are very down to earth - these fenders are kinda functional on the rear, they are protecting the wheels which are sticking out.

Wagner BD180027 Brake Rotor has arrived from amazon (it's a weird world now, shopping for parts on amazon) and I could not resist the temptation to see if I have a chance...



... first the caliper did not fit inside the 15" wheel, but I've realized I have these spacers I use on the rear... And with 20mm of spacers seems like it fits:



the dual-piston caliper is either legacy wagon or millenia s, not sure which one.

Would not have time to work on this till July, but maybe I will convince a talented fabricator to at least weld a bracket to the spindle.
