Here is my baby (ranger) with my parts car.

Here is the Taurus SHO that was part of the deal i made with my brother for the Festiva. Pulled the SHO out of a barn after sitting for a couple of years (She quite running on them and they couldn't figure out why) The battery cable end fell off and it wasn't getting enough power for the computer, put a new cable end on and it fired right up. Not bad for $250.
You can also see my Ranger (Currently going through the motor in it to get it back on the road) and you can see my 90 Festiva.

yep 2.0l 5speed, there isn't anything power on it. Manual steering, brakes, locks, windows, transmission, choke, and it's carb'd, and no ac. The only power things it has is the starter and the fan for the heat. I bough it when i was 14 still have the ad from when i found it, when i turned 15 i got a sweet deal on a 96 f150 eddie bauer edition 4.9l 5 speed, i'll talk about that in a later post. I sold the ranger to my best friend(who happens to have the same name as me and was born the day after me and we looked a lot like when we were younger, it's pretty weird) for him to use as his first truck, a year later i get a call from him saying the ranger is at wal mart and won't start give me couple of hundred for the down payment on a new truck and come pick it up so a $8 timing belt later and she was up running, but after years of abuse she needs a valve job, and i'm going to put rings and maybe main bearings in it.

It's simply ludacris to replace just the mains IMO. I completely understand your most likely on a budget but your already in there, might as well throw a nice FULL rebuild at it so you won't be pulling it again in a year for spun rod bearings. Ask me how I know, you'll be quite angry at yourself!!!!

Well i am on a very tight budget (full time student), I think I have deal worked with dad to help with some of the parts so i will be getting some other stuff too (Maybe a Pinto ditributor to get rid of the mess of a wiring harness). If she spins a rod bearing then i will be pulling it and dropping a 302 and AOD in it (neioghbor has one in a lincoln and buddy has a carb manifold and carb.) We will be checking all the parts closely (we have a mechanic shop so we know what to look for) but if it doesn't need it then it's not getting it right now due to my budgeting iussues (plus it won't get driven but maybe a couple of times a month.)

Well got the new blower motor installed today, doesn't seem to blow like i think i should but it works enough to keep the car comfortable. I also drove it for the first time safely, to bad it was snowing pretty hard the whole way so i couldn't see what she had in her (but it was slippery enough that in 3rd gear at 35mpg i could get the wheels to spin with just a little ammount of throttle. But the snow made me realize that i need 2 wipers (My brother just put on long one on, but I'm going to put the other one on again and get new blades). I am going to get it aligned soon and hope that take most of the vibration out, i think i might spring for the other cv shaft and rear shock soon. I might also order my decals soon since i finally got my measurements off the windows.

ai took 2 whole minutes to wire the ground for my radio and get the cage for the radio mounted most of the way in. I need to wire in the two rear speakers to see if it works. Then try to get the motivation to do the front speakers, but i probably won't find that for awhile

I FINALLY got my head unit in, just didn't want to fight with the wiring (I ran the ground for the radio down to the bracket for the cubby, and i pulled all the wiring down behind the cubby so i could get the headunit in and out without fighting with a hug bundle of plugs) Redid some work on my speaker mounts since the were rattling a little, got it all worked out. Checked my mileage, got 32 this tank (I played with it a lot lol) Going to try to drive it easy and try to bring that up to atleas 35-7. I think when i get the 5speed swapped it will help with that, but i only do 60mph since it's all backroads (Maybe i should do 55 which is the speed limit and try to boost it more.)

Hopefully tommorow i will be able to find a piece of steel for the trailer hitch, also going to try to go to the junk yard and grab some parts from an escort, might start working on my boxes for the 6x9s.

Also i made a video for you guys, it's nothing fancy. The damage i zoom in on is from when my brother hit a bridge. I also think the radio turned out really good, and the speakers are more secure than they look in the video. I took it to the car wash and it started taking the paint off pretty good (I'll go back when somebody isn't watching me leave a huge mess lol, plus i know the people that own it)

So i finally got the car licensed in my name and got plates for it(was using my brothers)

Also thought i would share, heard a commercial on the radio and they where advertising a sale at the local Ford dealership and when they started talking about the Fiesta they called it a Festiva. lol
