even compete with the steva! Snowmobiles, ATV's, my quad, tecate'
basecamp..I haul it , I tow it, I pack it, nothing works better here in the
Oregon desert and the cascades.
If you just need to go to the DQ , and look cool that's alright but I took
one of those guys out a few miles on a forest road to snowmobile and now
he hates his big diesel and monster trailer because he sank out of sight and it took 6 hours of after dark fun to get him out.. I drove all around him to flood light the excavation process.. A light little festi just floats on top!!Reflex paint by Langeman...Lifted...Tow Rig

Well i got 41.2MPG this tank, first time i have been out of the 20s! Not bad for a 4speed, 5speed should give me a little more. I actually gained 7mpg just in driving habits.
I also will hopefully be doing some paint work to this soon (Don't get to excited it's just a rattle can touch up and a tacky paint scheme)

I've carried my mountain bike in the back of my Festiva quite often. I drop the back seat, take of the front wheel of the bike and it fits in without any problems. Went to a mountain bike race once with my oldest son... had two bikes, a tent, cooler, tool box, sleeping bags, a camping stove and more all inside the car!!! Had to take both wheels off both bikes to make them fit.Ian

Get a collapsible bike? Rear mounted bike racks aren't really that bad for fuel economy. You can make up the difference by doing 55 instead of 65mph, and unless you're already going to be driving for more than 2 hours, the time difference is basically one pee stop. (About 20 minutes)
