      • ^^You can pull the VSS out of the EGT trans and use the Capri XR2 cable

Probe's use a VSS as well and i just pulled it out of the trans and stuck in the Capri XR2 cable that i have, G series tranny's are remarkably interchangable

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

        • Can we use the VSS on an F3A for cruise control?

              • Made a first prototype cable/hydro converter. It would sit above the cable. Worked good in a mock up, but needs refined. Vid below

                  • I'd give the video 4 out of 5 stars.

It needs a soundtrack. Perhaps Led Zepplin's "whole lot of love":eeeeeek:

                          anyways,
why did you have to use glue? I would imagine, using the stock timing belt cover from the escort would be the way to go?

Thanks a lot ! The motor was degreased, powerwashed and hand scrubbed the best I could, then painted with high temp paint. Every chance I get I'll paint or switch out some old crusty hardware with a newer looking replacement, esp. in those areas you see the most.
