Love your photo skills! Looking forward to watching your progress on your car. Since your familiar with MS and turbo systems, I would imagine that your festiva may find itself breathing heavily in the future. there is now a pnp for the festiva.

Haha it may, I do like to venture into things I shouldn't. But right now shes just here to get me to work everyday until September, and maybe do an auto cross or two... hahah Definitely doesn't mean it won't get a mod or two to enhance the commute experience.

I really need to find some 13s, alloys. I hope I don't have to resort to doing rio/aspire swaps. But if I have to I have to.

Changed the oil, replaced a tie rod end and theres still a knocking on the right wheel, I've got the rest of my suspension coming this week. Can't wait! Had an issue with the tie rod end, I think the aftermarket ones sent weren't right, I might end up buying inners and 2 more new outers and sending the ones I got back. Changed that little hose, any way to not have it pinched? did it come like that from the factory? hahaha. Changed the temp fan switch so the fan isn't running constantly, idle sounds great! I actually had to raise the idle a little.

Got these gems today! My first festiva oriented junkyard run was a great success.

Tach cluster! There were two festys there and one had this! and the amazing thing is its 2000 miles different from my current odometer!

and some power mirrors. A little dirty but ill clean them. I made the mistake of thinking the car is already wired for power mirrors because I took notice of wires running to the door. Then it hit me... The wires are for the power seatbelts. So now I have the switch and mirrors, but no way to power them. At least I can have a passenger mirror now! Anyone have a harness?

I use 5/16 fuel line because of the chance of contact with oil. I wrap galvanized wire around it to keep from kinking. You might be able to find an exact one.

You should have the wiring for the mirrors.

Oh, I just used 3/8" seemed a little big, but its not leaking, should be good, the bypass won't really bother me until winter I think. haha I just left the small kink.

I found the plug for the passenger mirror and installed the mirror with it connected. But I can't find the actually control module plug for the switch on the drivers side.

It should be behind the blank plug to the far left. You can see where it goes in the picture below. Its just to the left of the turn signal stalk. In the picture you can also see what some of the other blank plugs can be used for. Rear wiper, rear window defrost, fog light, etc.

Nice car. That Blue is my favorite Festy color. Hey, for the bypass hose, go to the parts store and ask for a Gates hose part # 18206. NAPA had one for me about $9 but worth it. It will need cut to length. It is a formed hose. You'll only use about 1/2 of it.
