    Nice! ..and thanks!

Mine will look Rad with the Chrome Weber carb sittin' behind that valve cover.

Well photobucket is still acting up, I can upload to PB, but cant copy to add pics here.
So til it is fixed, it will be verbal updates. I have pics and will post up when I can.
Yesterday afternoon and today, I scrubbed down the engine bay, wire wheeled/sanded any rust spots to prep for paint.

Whoa, was she a Dirty girl! :p
Used up 3 bottles of Dawn Power Dissolver, and 2 cans of Heavy Duty Engine degreaser, and still had to wipe it down with Laquer Thinner!!!

Shame I cant post pics: The engine bay is now a nice, glossy, shiny, Gloss Black

Did I mention it is glossy

No black can be seen when hood is closed.
I hope to one day have the whole car Gloss Black....

...and this was the best time to paint the engine bay. The engine bay hasnt been this clean since June of 1988

I've been using Irfan View, and then loading with the FF.com attachment manager. But only dinky pics like this are coming thru.

I should figure something else out, but not tonite.

Bahh, haaa...the 'dinky' emoticon is automatic...I luv it!

If it does this should be a pic of my sandblasted exhaust manifold

What should we paint our M/Cs and boosters with? Epoxy paint? Caliper paint?

They dont get hot, any paint will work. 90% of a paint job is in the prep.
I use Rustoleum. I compared Rustoleum vs Krylon over the years, and I just dont like Krylon. It isnt as shiny, and doesnt seem as tough. Just me.

What color scheme are you gonna do?

My hood is painted dark gray...the rear spoiler's going to match the hood.

The rest of the car is going to be a shade of blue real close to GeorgeB's, maybe a tad darker.

The engine bay will have to stay red for a long while.
