    I have my moments, apparently.

I was leary of it from the beginning, shoulda listened to my inner instincts, and bought the Exedy.

Mine is supposed to be a stage 2 race (cough) clutch, for a Festiva.

It slips at high rpm shifts. Looks like I will be spending more money next spring to pull it all back out to put in a REAL Exedy clutch. (uh-hmm...Greg!)

I think the 4 yr old stock Festy clutch I took off, would be better than the Bahnhof I bought and installed.

(Yea, I know, go ahead with the roasting!)

In the back of my mind, I knew I should have gone with the best I could get, and not some "put together" with "name brand parts" assembled by some probable idiots. There was a good chance it could bite me, and it did.

    Oh well.....
So you were stupid too? Now I don't feel so all alone.

I bought the stage 1 Bahnhof and I bet the B3 I had could make it slip. Next weekend, I'm putting in an Exedy like I should have.

    Heh..Heh....

    Update:

The elec fuel pump did help, but did still miss somewhat.
I got to try tuning it and changing jets in inside the Weber carb....when I noticed something funny looking (and no, I wasnt seeing my reflection in the gas in the carb bowl!)

There is a copper washer under the power valve, I noticed it looked off center, so I touched the valve with my finger. It moved!!!! (it is supposed to be tight!) It has a screwdriver slot in it, so I grabbed a screwdriver and turned to tighten it. It was loose...like 2 turns loose!!!!!!!!!!

Well I tightened the heck out of it. Now it purrs like a kitten at all rpm's, and gas mileage went way up

I guess I just didnt get it tight enough when I rebuilt the carb.

I am just glad I found the issue, as it was confuddling me.
I've had this carb for 3 yrs, it was on the B3, and now on the B6, and it was bugging the heck out of me why the Weber was acting up so badly on the B6.

Now I can tune the carb the way I like it!!!

    (Think Performance!)

Yes, i'm pretty sure I will be going!

I am trying to put together a caravan, with folks coming through, or close to the St. Louis area. The more, the merrier!

Yay! Electric fuel pump installed, and working fine!

Had it going for a while, just wanted to make sure it wasnt going to start acting funny! (again! :p)

Drove it on a few test drives, and I did have a setback of my own doing.
My AC unit wasnt bolted up yet, I cable tied it up while I made sure all was well with the swap. I did not notice it was touching the new lower radiator hose, and after a good long test drive the other day, after I got back to the house, I noticed it was leaking anti-freeze! Looked and the AC unit had rubbed a hole in the lower radiator hose!

It musta just got through, cause it hadnt over heated, caught it in time! Whew! :eeeeeek:

Then while I was fixing the hose I noticed my tire was really low. A good size screw in the rear driverside tire. My new tires, mind you. Errrgh!

Fixed that while I was at it, and bolted the AC in place!

On the bright side, my Festy is now road worthy!!!!!!!!!!!

interesting... something I didn't tag on to, even though I read that you'd ground/polished the pump lobe. Keep us updated!

another option is to shorten the pump spacer by a 1/16th... that will push the pump arm closer to the lobe and effectively add pump stroke by changing the fulcrum point.
