Well... Only about 6 months late but I was able to dig up some picture from doing my swap not much since I cant find any of what happened while I was at boot camp but here they are:
          2012-08-05 16.23.43.jpg
Working on disconnecting everything for the pull
          2012-08-05 16.24.40.jpg

          2012-08-05 16.56.53.jpg
Removing the steering column to make it easier to swap the pedal assembly's
          2012-08-05 21.02.25.jpg
          Removing the automatic shifter
          2012-08-05 21.28.30.jpg
Not sure what I was doing here!!
          2012-08-13 20.39.03.jpg
After all the electrical had been figured out we labeled it all temporarily with blue painters tape which you can see here, and we were also putting the manual shift linkages in in this picture.

I asked my family to send me some pictures of it in now since its back at home and I'm down in Florida, no promises there though. The next plans for it is a full suspension and brake treatment.

Ive decided to go with the aspire swap instead of the Rio mainly because I had most of my stuff already purchased before I found out enough information to do the Rio swap but from what I can tell its not to hard to go from an aspire swap to a Rio.

Anyways here is a list of the parts I believe that I need, "X" means that I already have it. Please let me know if I don't need anything or if I am missing anything that I will need.
                Front Aspire Sway Bar
                Aspire Rear Trailing Beam Assembly
                X-Aspire outer Tie Rod Ends
X-Control Arm to Sway Bar Bushing
                X-Sway Bar to Body Bushing
Shift Bushings (What are these and where can I find them? I just found them on a bushing list somewhere....)
                Front Tranny Bushing/Mount
                Side Engine Bushing/Mount
                Aspire Wheel Bearings
                X-KYB Festiva/Aspire Shocks (2 For the rear)
                X-1 7/8" x 10' I.D. 150 Lbs Springs (2 For the rear)
VW MK2 Raceland Coilover Kit (Will only be using the front coilovers)
X- 2 1/2" x 10" 250 Lbs Springs (2 For the front, I think these might end up being too stiff)
                Small Body Shock Sleve Kit
                Aspire E-Brake Cable
Aspire Driver & Passenger Hub/Spindle/Knuckle Assemblys
                X- Rio Front Strut Mounts
                Festiva Rear Strut Mounts
                X- Festiva LCA's
X- Festiva Outter Tie Rod Ends
                X- Brake Pads
                X- Calipers (Auto Aspire)
                X- Rotors (Auto Aspire)
                Aspire Brake Drums
                Aspire Brake Shoes
                Aspire/Rio Stainless Steel Brakelines
Escort GT Brake Booster (Do I actually need this??)
                Top Hats???
                X- 4x100 Rims (VW Snowflakes)
Tires (Still unsrue of what size to get)

What do you guys all think?
Also how do how do I/Can I change the title of this thread?

I just got the following the other day:
Aspire Driver & Passenger Hub/Spindle/Knuckle Assemblys
                    Aspire Wheel Bearings
                    VW MK2 Raceland Coilover Kit
                    Small Body Shock Sleeve Kit
                    4 Federal 185/55 R14 Tires

Teardown should be starting this weekend if all goes as planned. I still need the following parts though:
                    Front Aspire Sway Bar
                    Aspire Rear Trailing Beam Assembly
                    Aspire E-Brake Cable
                    Festiva Rear Strut Mounts
                    Aspire Brake Drums
                    Aspire Brake Shoes
Escort GT Brake Booster (Do I actually need this??)
                    Top Hats???

And I have decided that I will be getting these parts at a later time:
Shift Bushings (What are these and where can I find them? I just found them on a bushing list somewhere....)
                    Front Tranny Bushing/Mount
                    Side Engine Bushing/Mount

As well as Aspire/Rio Stainless Steel Brakelines unless the ones I have end up needing to be replaced right away.

did the calipers come with the aspire knuckles? If they didn't just buy rio calipers and rotors and be done with it, will bolt up just use the rio caliper bolts. Check out advancedynamics suspension thread, you might change your mind about the aspire rear beam but you'll have to get spacers/adapters or dual pattern wheels to swap to 4x100 bolt pattern and have matching rims. He's also covered about everything you need to know about installing coilovers, and links in there to southwest speed where you can pretty much piece together your own coilovers for a decent price if you wanted to do that.

I swapped aspire knuckles with bigger brakes and they seem to do pretty good with the stock master cylinder. You could always upgrade that later if you feel the need. I'm scared to turn 90* corners too fast thinking the rear end is gonna fly up in the air and make me kiss my own ... but I digress.

                        zoom zoom,
                        -I already had the calipers.
-I have thoroughly read through AdvanceDynamics suspension thread multiple times (All 24 pages)and have pm'd him with many questions that Ive had.
-Ive been debating the rear beam for awhile not only because of his thread, but also due to the fact that their hard to find and I was about to decide to not use one but then at the last minute I found one for sale and snagged it up (its shipping right now) but I may decide after driving with it on that I want to revert back to the festy one
-Master Cylinder, for now I decided to use the stock one and possibly upgrade later on

Hmmm my ebrake isn't working, but I haven't investigated it much. I have to lift it up to the extreme max for it to even barely work on level ground. If it's got any sort of slope...there is no point in even using it.

Power... just use one sub. 1 12" is more than enough for a cabin the size of a festy. i also recomend a sealed enclosure unless the unit is specificaly designed for a ported enclosure.

take the amp and bridge it mono. it's easier on the amp and the THD will drop, making the sub much cleaner sounding.
