Im trying to figure out my exhaust right now, to buy parts.

Should i get a t25 to vband and have a 3" downpipe 2.5" exhaust orrr....

2.5" exhaust and fabricate a screamer pipe aka wastegate dump?

      Well my small update,

      Going to post more pictures:

Found the final colour of the VC: Going to be flat grey primer with clearcoat. Looks good, going to keep sanding and clearcoating till it looks mint

Bought all new hardware for the engine: including vc bolts, waterpump bolts, oil pump bolts, timing gear covers, etc etc

Got my ford festiva water neck painted,

Where did you find the new hardware and cover? Do you have any part numbers too?

Im using modified miata timing belt cover for the bottom to check timing

As for part numbers i dont have any, i just grabbed samples of all my bolts and just went to my local "edmonton nut and bolt emporium" and asked for replicas

They are all high-grade. Most of them hex-cap Ill take pics tonight.

Thanks for all the compliments guys,

I Will call this motor......... 50 shades of grey. Ladies will love it. (lol)

And Rick you make a very very interesting point. I think this V/C may get re-done. Its a shame but the bondo covering the letters was the worst idea ever. What i should of used was 2 part epoxy. Big shame.

NICE. I would have shaved the sprocket cover totally off, but still, NICE.
Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.

I might consider that still actually. This VC might have to get junked and start over again.

Anyways, i might not get to work on this project lots for the next little while. Final exams are comming up and its the last year/ last semester of my undergrad. I finish on April 18th and i have from the 18th of april to the 29th (first full time day of work!) to work steady on the car, as in im not going to stop till im done haha. Id like it done by the end of april, in the car running. But im not going to rush, i want it to be perfect.
