Im 17yo and began my first bp swap today worked on it 9so hours straight and got motor setting in frame today! !! Started on the no weld mount picked up clutch and oil hopefully see her running in the am would post pics but my "smartphone" wont let me updates tomorrow evening!

Took couple days do to weather installed new pulley started wiring finished the injector harness and all the other plugs besides the 2 that run to the ecu now would it be easier if I removed the dash to do this?89 festiva all of a mighty 1.3 Tha Black Bullet and good ole casper got casper when I was 15 and loved em ever since

If you can get a set of ratchet wrenches from Autozone for about 25.00 or so, you can unbolt the fuse panel and get to the bolts. It took me about 30 minutes of actual work time to swap the ECU in mine. It's a 10mm bolt. One is easy to get, the other one is the reason for the ratchet wrenches.
Oops, I thought you were talking about changing the ecu. You can hook up the 2 wires without pulling the dash.Last edited by Team Lightning; 03-20-2013, 09:12 PM.Jerry
