        I read that someware but there is. No room and on the motor it has 2 bolts not 3 like the b3 motor
        Soo I'm just making a flat bracket welded on to the stock motor mount with braces so hopefully tomorow I have the frount cradle mounte and the passenger mount welded and start to connect all the cv and shift linkage but the build has been going reallly smooth sooo far

            Man I've seen some dirty engine bays in my day but yours takes the cake. Sad part is it looks like it's all just dirt and would be easy to clean....not oil that needs alot of elbow grease. I can't stand working in dirty engine bays, don't know how your doing it.

                Holy god thats dirty.

                Mud = rust

                Grease = rustproofing

                    Okay I've looked every ware and my motor seems different! clarance between the fire wall (allmost touching!) Passenger engine mount 2 bolts( and shimming the stock mount with washers won't work) so the numbers on the block by the distributor is BP05-4-1k so there a thread for this engine? Cuz I'm stuck and can't fine this motor I've found threads with other escort gt motors but none have what I need with pictures.

                        That's about right with a stock tranny. Some guys clearance the firewall, i'd just beat it with a hammer. Maybe it would help to lower the crossmember an inch in the front? No mount needed back there tho.

                        That is a BP engine, there are tons of threads about them.

                                No need to pull the dash i didnt on any of the five bp swaps i have done . Just unplug the ECM and pull the plugs down so you can get to them and install the terminals ! If you have a donor car pull the pins from the old plug and reuse them in the swap car !
                                New build on the way .
