I was going to try to just use the festiva wiring that still there to run lights and car functions, then power the bp harness to only run the motor so i didnt have to to a whole bunch of wiring.

It's easy to pull the needed stuff such as oil pressure and charge / starting . I pull them all out and loom. them by themselves and hide all the other festiva stuff in the fender hole , just in case I ever want to go back to stock .
I have never used the egt harness it might be easier to swap to FI harness . I have not done a carb bp yet . The FI is much easier .

Oil pressure and alt wires , starter wiring , both temp sensors and grounds . That's all of the festy stuff you need in engine bay .

Looks good, you're making more progress on it than I did in the past 7 months. Personally I'd stick with running just the engine harness and ecu off the escort and paring it down carefully to eliminate unused circuits. It seemed like the quickest option to me.

Thats what I was thinking, try to eliminate clutter, after going to all this work I want it to look nice

Motor mount is getting worked on tomorrow, so then I can hopefully start wiring and sorting through harness'.

If I can get the motor to turn over, I can get it to run, then its just tieing up loose ends. Still dont know if I should go with the aspire tank or an in line pump.

^^ That's just temporary right? You are going to have more than 1 bolt in that mount or at least the angle welded to the factory mount I hope.
If a hammer doesn't fix it you have an electrical problem

Yes, I'm gonna yank it out and put stronger bolts and drill another hole, just wanted to make sure it was all gonna line up/work before I spent more time on it. I'm gonna cut the top unused part off the mount as well (above the angle steel)

Sadly no, I've been so tired and lazy. I'm going to work on it today, hopefully. Wiring and fuel tank are still all that are left, I just feel like itve hit a wall. Lol

May have to take you up on that if I can't get it, wiring isn’t my strong suit
