  • are you getting gas in your oil, or is it just pulsing out your oil cap?

    Comment

    • hey, so i was wondering where abouts in your oil pan you put your oil return. if you could divide the oil pan up in a 4x4 grid from the front. and the point 2-2 would be the exact middle. where abouts was yours?

          • You can see it here. Where I put it was right next to where the crankshaft turns. I had almost no clearance issues with the b3 but a lot of issues with the b6, thicker rods. If you were to to put it there and weld it to the outside you would be ok. If you used a one that bolts though move it to the left or to the right about a half inch.

                • Advantages for that? Ease of install?

                  • I couldn't tell you lol, it was simpler to install I guess. I didn't want to run vaf wires everywhere.

                    • Ok, yeah. I was going to do it that way too originally, but having a b.o.v. after your air metering can cause excessive rich conditions during shifts. So I'm going to put mine right before my throttle body. I'm sure draw through is fine for modest boost levels though

                      • I have a forge recirc valve. That way I don't lose any of my unmetered air.

                            • Ha. I can still hear it a little bit. I like my car to be sleeper status, the only way you can tell its turboed is if you see the turbo through the grill.
