Nice. Those 1st gen MR2? I like those headrests. I bet they would fit my 2nd gen seats. Hmmmmm....

I can vouch for the comfort of those MR2 seats as I have them in my car. Makes long stretches of road trip driving a lot more bearable for both driver and passenger. One thing I've thought about doing is getting a drivers seat from a right hand drive MR2 so that my passenger could have the same adjustability as I do.

Mine are mounted a little lower that the stock Festiva seats.

Got a couple things done this afternoon

FINALLY got my seats back this weekend. They came from a 92 Toyota MR2. They are super comfortable and keep you nice and snug in place. I have them mounted a bit higher than a stock Festiva but might try and lower them about 3/4". The headrests are not done yet cause I am gonna try and fine something from another car that will look a bit sleeker than what comes with the MR2 seats. They are kinda fat and ugly. A Festy LX headrest almost fits but the posts are about an inch too wide to fit in.

Next task is getting back into the engine bay to mock up the shifter linkage and get it all welded nice and proper. Then will probably start getting the bumper back on then maybe the cover.

No. I did all the prep-work myself. Filling where the seamsealer left off then sanding with 60 grit then 150 then 380. I put 2 coats of primer then he came the next day and painted. Looks really good. Can't wait to see it start getting back together.

Got the bay painted yesterday. Looks really nice. My buddy the painter is also my buddy the powdercoater. Taking a crapload of stuff to him tomorrow for some satin black coating. Then it will be time to start installing the stuff.
