    • I was working on my Fender braces and the cutoff wheel broke. Now I am headed to the ER. Looks like I was in a UFC fight and got a sharp elbow to the forehead. probably going to have a crapload of stitches.

        • Dude, cut off to the head? Gnarly! Hope your okay. I shatter those things all the time and usually get really lucky, but always imagine what would happen if I got a direct hit. Thank you for posting before seeking medical attention by the way, shows us your dedicated.

                      • Got the drivers side Fender brace done today. Some of the pics are from the pass side cause I was taking some of both in progress and picked the best quality ones to post.

I am not an engineer but did give my best guess to where some of the stress will be. Either way it will be better than stock for sure... I hope. lol

                        • Gomez, now is the time to remove your long brake and fuel lines and have them profiled for stainless replacement lines. You could use either Inline in Michigan or Classic in Buffalo, New York.
Unfortunately, I cannot do what you did.

                            • I was gonna redo my lines when my current DD was the base for my build. Then I got this car and it isn't necessary cause for as long as I own it, it will not see rain or snow. I may do some new brake line rerouting to clean up the engine bay but no stainless.

need more fundage to keep the build rollin'. Any sponsors? LOL
