Alright, hopefully by posting I will give myself the push to get this project finished. My daily driver had the 5 speed fail, and E series are apparently getting hard to find. I have managed to get my other nice automatic running as my current car, but it is meant to be used for a different project. So, the plan is to make a nice new Daily with a little more pep and decent gas mileage.
What I have here is a 1992 Automatic Festiva and a 1990 Mazda 323 Protege. My plans are to take the B8 + Manual Transmission and swap it over with whatever other goodies I can make fit into the Festiva. I will hopefully be able to use the automatic C/V shafts, but I will find out as I go if this will work or not. So without further ado, here are the pics:

These are all before pics. I have so far started in the engine removal from the Festiva, and cleaned up the engine of the Mazda and made sure it is running correctly before the install. I had a high idle problem I had to remedy last night, but I think I got it taken care of. Will be posting more pics of progress as I go. Feel free to throw out any advice! Always love learning something new.
