I'm having a really tough time trying to figure out the distributor part of this swap. Right now the best solution i have is to rewire the b6d dizzy to my current wiring and keep the vacuum advance. What i would like to find is a mechanical advance (centrifugal ) that fits the b6d. Going to be a long night of research.

I haven't updated in a little while but progress is being made. Right now I'm in the works of buying my engine. I found a 125k mile b6d for 275 and I'm arranging pickup for tomorrow. I'm also talking to a member on here about a 5 speed tranny. After that I'll start mocking everything up. I'm hoping that once the motor gets here I can compare sensors and the distributors. It would be nice to just move everything from my 1.3 to the new motor but I dont think it'll be that easy.

The push button looks good. Nice work. Can't wait to see what you come up with for the cargo cover.

I am getting a little bit tired of driving around with no audio. I think my next project will be pyle pfa200 or pfa300 tucked away somewhere to power the two rear speakers. I don't need much. That and my phone will be a great replacement for the missing stereo. It lets me mount an aspire cubby in the old radio's place too. Projects projects projects.
Good news is that I'm back on stock sized wheels now. What a nice feel. Next paycheck I think I'm ordering my motor for the swap.

My dimmer switch is tucked in the back. I plan on relocating it to the cluster bezel eventually

Looks Good, Did you relocate the dimmer switch or remove it? I put LED lights in my cluster and the dimmer switch comes in really handy because it can be blinding at night.

Exactly. Plus, explaining to every person who rides in it that they have to actually push the lock down manually and hold up the handle to make it lock is exhausting. Lol. That's one thing I don't like about the early cars. It requires a lesson to teach people how to lock the door. Ain't nobody got time fo that!

Sister- "You're not going to roll the windows up and lock the doors?!?"
Me- "Umm... Who's going to steal a Festiva?"
Sister- "Good point."

I have to revise the switch tonight to accommodate an acc switch. Going to move the dimmer switch and add a second toggle. Pics soon

I got the plate all made up and the switches ready but I need to figure out some wiring before the install.
Pics. Sorry for quality. It's dark here.
