White... Need to spray the bumper a shade darker too.
A shade darker? What would you recommend

festiver prowling the streets again running great driving great did 130 mph earlier felt extremely stable the only weird problem I'm having is the temp guage is reading hot like that the engine is just under the H line doesn't change at all driving around its scary being that high but Im able to touch the radiator without burning myself could the guage be off? Or maybe the sensor?

Wipe it lightly with lacquer thinner moistened micro fiber to remove oxidized plastic film, then use Mothers "back to black" on the bumpers. It may take a few heavy applications at first. This method will restore your bumpers to their original finish. Painting them will result in eventual flaking bumper paint.
Driving for me is neither a right nor a privilege. Driving is my passion, as it was for the people who invented the automobile, the people who paved the first roads and the people who continue to improve the automobile. Please respect this passion.

Yeah, the gauge or sensor may be out of calibration . Use a laser temp gauge (they sell them at harbor freight) to check the head temp by the thermostat housing.

Yeah I ended up just spraying the front grey it's light but it hides all the damage well the front bumper is destroyed anyway

Will that be accurate to the coolant temp ? I know aluminum transfers heat well but idk how well

It'll give you a good idea. The sensor itself (brass part) should be within a few degrees of the actual coolant temp.

I used Back to Black years ago. The results were acceptable but for the relatively brief period of time that it protects plastic bumper fascias before fading returns.
I now use and recommend Black Again, a pro-grade conditioner that is back in production. When applied per the precise instructions, it provides weeks-long protection against the summer sun. Not sold over the counter, but otherwise the best I've found.
I've used bondo brand back to black it's like a thin black paint that you wipe over the bumper it held up for years.
But it's to dark if your looking for a factory look.
