Depends on what they bring but some of their cars have run 9s if I remember correctly. Most run 10-12s.

          • Well i didnt get time for overkill this weekend. I was working on the houses most of the time. I will be doing some much need race prep tonight tho. The next race is this coming Sunday. I want the car fully ready saturday night loaded on the trailer and all. I hope to have the following completed by then (in no order)

            1. dual boost controller on and set
            2. water meth kit installed and set
            3. front strut installed
            4. ride height set
            5. camber and tow finally setup
            6. install both corbeau seats (not waiting on my seats anymore) gonna install the good ones in the mean time.
            7. install the push button kit
            8. make some kind of column gaurd (just for looks)

So knowing my luck i will almost finish one of the above but i will intend to finish it all.

            • I got the new strut on OverKILL! Lits of room now. I still used one spacer to make sure i had room for flexing of componets.

I have added my weight to the drivers seat and my passengers weight to the other seat. Tonight i start fine tuning the ride height front and rear. Once thats good ill adjust toe in front and hope rear toe is good.

                • Last night i got the front end pretty decent as far as ride height goes. My toe is a bit out now. I am up to the nut on the tie rod arm so i will have to pull them out and trim down the tie rod end a bit to make room to allow for more toe. Also i have to finish the rear end. I have nates 1st run of camber plates. So i dont have as much adjustment in them as they have now but i will be able to work with it. Really all that i can do is set the rear height until i have the proper toe and that will be as goo as i can do for now.

So we still have another day or two in the setup until its good to go. I have to set up my push button and my water meth at the least as well. Also i must install the race seats before sunday!

Took a small drive last night and wow is the car different. I have never gotten this low before. I have right under 1" of drop from the LCA pivot to ball. The rear was close. Had a bit of toe but it was ok for a test run. What a test run it was!

The car handles way different then it ever has. The turn in felt super light and very quick. My out of wack toe i would think is the cause of the wheel wanting to just snap to one side or the other. With just a trip around the block i can feel how out the suspension was compared to how it is now. I cant wait to get my toe set right and my seats in the car.

                  • If the car is toe out, you don't touch the inner tierods, just back them.out of the outers, that will push your toe back in.

                    • Mike with the front lca pivot to ball around 5/8-3/4" and the body level you should still be ok with those plates. At least on chris's car it is. I think you both have aspire beam with festy mounts. The additional adjustment is for people running higher.

                      • I have just slight to much toe in on drivers side and a visible amount of toe in on the passengers side. I have the locking nuts on the last thread and they are touching. So i need to trim the TRE back a bit more to allow for the bar to slide in more giving me toe toe out.

My rear is just about there. I need to raise one side a bit and drop the other side a bit to get my 0 toe. I think i will have no problems tho. Not sure if the body is level or not tho. In the rear im about to the top of the adjustment sleeve. In the front my spring perch is about to the top of the tire (not sure the actual dimension). I will be measuring the ride height tonight as i get close and closer into spec.

I was having an issue getting my two LCA pivot points the same height. I dont know if the frame is just bent up a bit or if it was my welding or what. I will be working on it again tonight tho. Now that i am close i will tweak by tweak my way to shape.

                          • Its a slow and painful process, but sounds like you are getting there! Chris's rear is probably 1/4" below the top of the sleeve.

                              • My front ride height is about as good as i can make it. The LCA pivit point is the same height side to side with my weight in the car. The rear is all kinds of different tho. The right side is at the top of the travel of adjustment. The left side is down like 1" half a tank of gas my weight 180LBS and my rider close to 200lbs. the rest of the car is gutted as you know. I still need to adjust toe in the front but i should have that done today. Also tonight i will wire in my push button starter hook up my meth kit. Maybe Saturday i can install my seats and belts and do a giant bolt check. I really want to get all my races in this time.
