I had a G25MR tranny to install, but ended up selling it. I hope that it won't break again, but if it does, I'll address it at that time.

still to pricey for me. i think i might get a phantom grip and a lower gear ratio. i think the 4.11 will be a draw back once i get the turbo on and am making around 225 horse. i think that will be plenty for a festy. especially with the traction issues not solved.

i think that some heims joints attached to the rear of the control arms and then to a subframe of some sort would help also. you could even tie them in to the swaybar bushing mounting locations and have them running from the front to the LCA

Any more official BP times? Curious as to what I can get out of my car if I make the swap.

right, so one would assume that a DOHC could do better right?

                    eurotiva is also turbo'd
Here is what my stock BP swap ran car #112,Specs are stock escort gt BP, with a cone filter, 2.25 inch mandrel exhaust to a turbo style muffler, stock festiva trans, stock festiva tires, shifting around 7k rpm, I have never driven this car or a stick shift car at the track before, so i think i could do better with more practice at the track

altitude plays a huge factor cause im at 4500 feet and my bp swap n/a, egt trans, stock festy tires, slushy stock suspension, slipping clutch, stock festiva cat and exhaust, ran a 17. flat not very impressive

So I'm guessing the Aspire swap and better wheels/tires are in its future? Plus that Festy exhaust is obviously limiting the motor.

Im assuming you mean the 4lug phone dial wheels? I have a set of them and was wondering how well they fit... did they need any spacers? (I'm mostly a rx7 guy but i have been looking into a swapped Festiva for a daily) (sry not trying to hijack this thread)
