the 215s you're running are too stiff in the side wall to grip while dragging, step down to a 195 50 14 (or the like) and lower the air pressure a bit. you want contact patch.
i think slicks are the only answer... my 205/60/13's did a bit better but under boost 1st and 2nd dont hook up
and the 215/40/16's make my car handle like its on rails so i dont want to change tires

still on the 16g or did you go bigger? at that pressure you should be at about 300hp? no? when are you getting it dynoed and where? i would like to come out and see it

Yah, 20-25 psi should make 300whp give or take. I may not have time to strap it on the dyno before next weekend but I will street tune it with some knock ears soI can run on friday!
