    the oe mazda ones dont hold to drag racing according to the guys on clubprotege. go with the mfactory one. i love mine.
    I know its a piece of crap but im still faster...and its 100% legal!!!!!

      Yup those factory LSD's in the mazdaspeed protégés are prone to exploding

      X2 on the Mfactory, they work well

        I LOVED my mazdaspeed Protege.

        That being said, I blew up 2 differentials, 3 3rd gear synchros and a turbo within 11 months.

          HAD MY CAR FOR 3 YEARS... ON MY 17TH TRANNY, 5TH DIFF, 4TH SET OF AXLES, 4TH CLUTCH, 4TH MOTOR, 2ND FLYWHEEL(CRACKED THE 1ST)

            I was talking about a relatively stock MSP. I only made 188/212 to the tire and was just blowing through driveline parts. Mazda screwed the pooch on that one, sticking a stock trans and diff in them.
