Everything seems to be on Facebook. Most of the forums are dead. Even buying stuff thru cl is hard. Barely anything gets posted.

FB is a joke. That groups Admins are a joke. The loss of actual thread'ed forum's like this will be a significant loss when gone.

Posting this just to say that my OG Festy still lives, and I won't part with it for anything. Still sad that this forum is dead. No one will read this; just shouting into the void.

Someone will read this... There are many who still check this site and read the post. Lot of those folks are guest who use it for reliable how to info about Festivas.
It's slower and takes takes more patience because it's not a money making platform.
It will be greatly missed by many when it is no longer available.
I'm sure those facebook festiva folks still come here to do research.

Thirdman - I appreciate your post. I still have your ancient post about putting on bigger tires saved on my favorites for 2 of my Festys. Still own 4. Just bought some rear seat female seat belt receptacles and NOS hub caps in the last week. Life gets in the way but I hope this forum lasts forever. Sooooooo much knowledge on here. At the very least, I hope the site exists with a working search function.

Wish I had know you needed those rear seat belts Twistiva.. I have a complete set (including attaching hardware) in great condition that you could have had for just the shipping. Still have them if anyone else needs them.

It's sad to think that the last post made to fordfestiva.com will most likely go unread.

I hope this forum stays. Ford Festiva is a very popular car in my country and I use the information from this forum to improve my car. It is interesting to know that this car has had many facelifts here.

No plans to see this place go under anytime soon, folks. It just seems the concept of "forums" is declining against the alternative solutions. But we're still here!

I just got a Festiva as my first project car so I fully plan to contribute to keeping this site alive with my many questions and the inevitable "Did you even try searching for that first?" replies that will collect below it

All of the huge forums I'm on are down to barely any traffic compared to 5-10 years ago. The C10 forum I frequent has 520K+ members and almost 9 million posts but now many of the sections go days without any new posts or replies, and right now there are only 39 members online when there used to be 1500+ members online.
