  • What did you do to your Festiva this week?

I've seen similar topics like this on other boards... And I don't recall ever seeing one here on FordFestiva.com...

The idea behind it is to get a running list of things you've done to your car in a week period (I've seen days, but listing to a week will probably be easier)...

At any rate... Let's hear what's going on out there.

For Casper? I installed the OEM coil mount on the strut tower again, mounted my blaster coil up top and the other 2 pieces that attach where they go stock. Before, they were mounted on a little fabricated bracket off the wiper motor.

I also installed a new oxygen sensor wire. The old one was cut and broke off at the plug.

Put on the black Miata wheels (14's) in the rear so it looks "normal" instead of running mismatched wheels and put some much needed air in them.

Besides that... I installed a new passenger seat belt latch, got my new shifter knob, boot and console installed... And that's about it!

The car runs a LOT nicer with the oxygen sensor fixed... Much better than last year, that's for sure.

Added a quart of oil again this week. But who hasn't.

Put the drivers side window back in its track.

                  This is so true.

Umm... Sadly I just sold my Festy. I have a new one on the way in, 93 L very little rust, low kms. (My 92 was rusted to death)

Looks like me and the Storm are going to get to know each other better in the next month or so, as soon as i get the engine back in.

I haven't, my beater Festiva doesn't seem to burn or leak any oil. But I did put a hose clamp around the converter to stop it from rattling.

I cut out the old seat brackets to mount the Taurus seats.
I also made a deal with my wife that we'd go to Panama City Saturday and hit her craft stores if I could hit the Pick N pull there!
